Small-space gardening topic of Bruneau talk

With spring approaching, the Bruneau Valley Library’s next speaker luncheon will feature gardening tips.
Laura Bellegante, a master gardener from Mountain Home, is the guest for the March 17 Bruneau and Beyond at the library, 32073 Ruth St., in Bruneau.
Bellegante’s specialty is “square-foot gardening”, or growing vegetables and flowers in small spaces. She will show how to set up, plant manage and harvest a small gardening space.
The program begins at noon.
The event, including lunch, is free, but RSVPs are asked to ensure enough food is prepared. Reserve your spot by calling library director Clara Morris by Monday at (208) 845-2131 or (208) 845-2345.
If an overflow crowd shows up, the event will be moved to the community church, and notices will be posted at the library.
