Air Force to hold scoping meetings on fighters at MHS, Rimrock

According to a release from the U.S. Air Force, the service proposes establishing training F-35A Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) training aircraft at one or more installations within the United States.
Boise’s Gowen Field is one of a half-dozen possible homes for the hi-tech warplanes.
The Air Force is currently taking comments on the proposal. Public scoping meetings will be held at Marsing High School in the commons room on Monday at 6 p.m., and at Rimrock High School on Friday at 6 p.m.
The Comments may be submitted by mail. Scoping comments should be submitted by March 25.
